Fifth edition of Annual Indian Cultural Festival - Sarang organised by Embassy of India began with much awaited curtain raiser in the iconic 118F Seoul Sky Observation Deck today, on 1st October, at 1900 hrs. The event began with welcome remarks by Mr Dong Ki Pak, CEO of Seoul Sky, which was followed by remarks by Ambassador of India, Ms. Sripriya Ranganathan. Sarang 2019 introduced the Indian classical dance, Bharatnatyam by renowned classical dancer, Shri. Kapil Sharma and carnatic Music team. The event was witnessed by the visitors of Seoul Sky, Students from HUFS and Korean Media which included journalists from well known newspapers in South Korea. This will be followed by Inauguration ceremony for Sarang at Yonsei University on 2nd October 2019. It adds great significance since the Inauguration coincides with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and theme of Sarang 2019 is also centered on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
