APPLICATION/DOCUMENT SUBMISSION TIME IS FROM 0930 TO 1230 HRS ONLY ON ALL WORKING DAYS.

APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO FURNISH ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH ONE SET OF SELF-ATTESTED COPIES OF THE SAME FOR PROCESSING. FOR MINOR APPLICANTS, DOCUMENTS MUST BE ATTESTED BY BOTH PARENTS. THE INDIAN NATIONALS SEEKING THESE SERVICES SHOULD KEEP SUFFICIENT MARGIN OF TIME WHILE  APPLYING.

THE APPLICANT SHOULD SUBMIT REQUIRED NUMBERS OF RECENT CLEAR PHOTOS SIZE 51MM*51MM (2 INCH X 2 INCH) AND NOT OLDER THAN THREE MONTHS, NO UNIFORM, WITH WHITE BACKGROUND AND DARK DRESS WITH FRONTAL VIEW. EYES OPEN, EARS, FOREHEAD & CHIN TO BE COMPLETELY VISIBLE, NO SHADOWS ON THE FACE AND NECK, NO REFLECTIONS ON THE GLASSES.

ANY CHANGES/CORRECTIONS TO BE AMENDED SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED WITH SUFFICIENT DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE, REQUEST LETTER WITH PROPER EXPLANATION. ORIGINAL PASSPORT NEEDS TO BE SUBMITTED FOR ALL KIND OF SERVICES. ALL APPLICANTS SHOULD SUBMIT THE APPLICATION IN PERSON FOR IDENTIFICATION (INCLUDING MINORS AND NEW BORN BABIES). ALL SIGNATURES IN THE APPLICATION FORM SHOULD BE IN A DARK BALLPOINT PEN OF BLACK AND SIGNED IN THE PRESENCE OF SERVICE OFFICER. THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFIX THEIR SIGNATURES LIKE INFANTS, MINORS OR ILLITERATE SHOULD PUT THEIR THUMB IMPRESSION IN THE PLACE OF SIGNATURE IN THE PRESENCE OF SERVICE OFFICER.

AS PER THE LATEST INSTRUCTIONS, POLICE VERIFICATION FROM INDIA FOR THE ADDRESS(ES) THE APPLICANT HAS STAYED AT EARLIER IS NOW MANDATORY BEFORE ISSUING POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE IN RESPECT OF ALL APPLICANTS AND PCC WILL BE ISSUED ONLY AFTER THE POLICE VERIFICATION IS COMPLETED &  PVR RECEIVED AT EMBASSY.

Note

*If the PCC is required for Immigration Purposes, the applicants are advised to confirm the requirements form the Korean Immigration authorities before applying for PCC.
*In case the address printed on the current passport is different, the applicant have to apply first for re-issue of the passport with changed address, then PCC application will be accepted.

*The applicant’s name and date of birth should exactly be same in passport as well as in driving license.

  • RE-ISSUANCE OF INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT:

Applicants are required to apply for fresh issue of IDP through the portal www.parivahan.gov.in and upload the documents, including the receipt issued by Embassy. On receipt of application through the portal, the licensing authority on verification of the documents, IDP will be issued and courier it directly to the address of the applicant.

  • ATTESTATION OF DOCUMENTS (COMMERCIAL / EDUCATIONAL ETC.):

According to new regulations, The Hague Apostille Convention, 1961, abolishes the requirement of legalization of foreign documents for use in any member country, once an Apostille certificate (including e-Apostille) has been issued by a competent authority of the country where the document originates. Therefore, no further attestation or legalization by Embassy on apostilled document is required for use in India as India is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention.

In countries, which are not member of the Hague Apostille Convention, 1961, these documents are required to be attested by Embassy of India after pre-authentication by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or any other concerned authority in the country), for use in India. The full text of the Hague Apostille Convention and list of its member countries are available at: https://www.hcch.net/en/instruments/conventions/specialised-sections/apostille .”

a) Documents issued by Korean authorities (Government Institutions / Companies / Universities etc.)

All documents issued by Korean authorities should first be translated into English and thereafter, apostilled by Ministry of Justice / Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea. The above mentioned documents should be supported by a letter issued by the concerned authority on their letterhead stating the purpose/requirement of submission of the documents.

b) Documents issued by Indian authorities (Government Institutions / Companies / Universities etc.)

All original documents issued by Indian authorities should be apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs in India. For details, click link: https://mea.gov.in/apostille.htm

  • MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE:

Documents required

  1. Notice for intended marriage form, duly filled-in. *
  2. Declaration by prospective bride and bridegroom (in duplicate by each). *
  3. Sworn affidavit by the prospective bride and bridegroom (in duplicate by each). *
  4. Four identical passport size recent photographs (by each). At least one of the parties must be on a residence visa of South Korea.
  5. Three witnesses (holding residence visa of South Korea, two of them should be Indian nationals) with their original valid passports and passport photocopy.
  6. If one of the parties is not an Indian citizen, a No Objection Certificates/Affidavit (in respect of his/her marital status and willingness to marry an Indian) from the concerned authorities apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, South Korea.
  7. As per prevailing policy, individual himself/herself is required to submit affidavit of bachelorhood for apostille/attestation.  No other person on their behalf can submit the affidavit.  Or SDM/Tahsildar of their jurisdiction can issue the bachelorhood certificate for apostille/attestation.
  8. All five persons are required to appear before the Marriage Officer for signatures with their original passport and a photocopy both at the time of submission of forms and at the time of solemnization of the Marriage. Photocopy of Passports required only at the time of submission of form.
  9. After submission of the form, newspaper advertisement is to be given by the individuals for publication in local English Newspaper as well as English Newspaper in India/concerned country in the place of permanent residence indicated in the passport.
  10. If any of the applicants is a divorcee, a decree of divorce duly apostilled in India, in case the divorce had taken place in India. In case divorce has taken place in South Korea, the divorce certificate along with legal translation needs to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of Justice, Government of South Korea
